On Wednesday 12 March, we had the pleasure of welcoming Robert-Jan Woltering, Managing Director of De L’Europe Amsterdam, for an inspiring guest lecture on The Power of Perspective.
During his lecture, Robert-Jan shared valuable insights from his extensive career, including his experiences at De L’Europe and the challenges he has encountered along the way. He emphasized the importance of resilience, maintaining a positive outlook, and always seeking opportunities even in difficult situations. His engaging stories and lessons left a lasting impression on our students, offering them crucial lessons on navigating the dynamic world of hospitality.
Just a day earlier, Robert-Jan was honoured with the prestigious title of Independent Hotelier of the Year at the Independent Hotel Show in Amsterdam. A well-deserved honour – and we extend our congratulations to him on receiving this award.
It was an absolute privilege to have him with us, sharing his knowledge, experiences, and invaluable advice with our future hospitality professionals. His visit left our students not only inspired but also equipped with fresh perspectives to take into their own careers.
