Great news from Horecava 2026! Our colleague Erwin Hendriks has won second prize at the NK Lekkerste Broodje 2026.
Erwin impressed the jury with his sandwich ‘De Groene Herder’, a creative and sustainable creation featuring, among other ingredients, vegan lamb kebab, muhammara, vegan mayonnaise, preserved lemon and pointed cabbage. The jury praised the overall flavour and texture, even noting that it closely resembled real lamb.
The NK Lekkerste Broodje is a prestigious professional competition where participants are judged under time pressure on creativity, taste, presentation and craftsmanship. Winning silver in this field is an outstanding achievement!
