Relations

Our Industry Relations Team is your gateway to the next generation of hospitality talent.

Our Industry Relations Team is your gateway to the next generation of hospitality talent. They work at the intersection of education and industry, continuously looking for new ways to co-create. Because to educate tomorrow’s game changers, we need to work together!

How can we collaborate?

Internships

Hotel Management School NHL Stenden is the only Dutch hotel management school that offers one internship of 10 consecutive months (in the final year of the Bachelor program). Our students combine working in your company (+/- 4 days per week) with a graduation project for your company (+/- 1 day per week). Want to learn more? Contact one of our account managers.

Design challenges

Do you have a specific project that you could use input or support on? Submit it as a design challenge and let our students think along! One or more project groups will spend a full semester generating ideas, researching possibilities, conducting feasibility studies, developing strategies and/or composing business models. More information? Click here or contact one of our account managers

Industry events

Throughout the year, we organise various events to connect our students and the hospitality industry. The size and set-up of events varies. Twice per year we organise a large Industry Fair where students and internship companies connect. Additionally, we organise small scale ‘Meet & Greet events’, field trips, inspirational talks and recruitment activities. Want to learn more? Get in touch with one of our account managers.

Vacancies

We are well aware of the current shortage on the labour market, in particular in hospitality. Do you have vacancies that you would like to share with our global network of alumni? Share them with alumni.hms@nhlstenden.com and we will make sure they are published on our alumni platform. Please be aware that we do not share any vacancies for side jobs with our current students.

Ateliers

Our traditional classrooms are being replaced by ‘ateliers’: spaces that inspire creativity and collaboration, where our students work on their design challenges. The ateliers can be ‘adopted’ by industry partners, meaning companies take care of the styling and furnishing of an atelier and by doing so, familiarise our students with their organisation and brand. Interested in designing one of our ateliers? Send us a message.

Other forms of collaboration

It is our mission to place the industry at the heart of our learning programmes. This means we are continuously looking for new ways to bring the industry into our academy. Are you interested in giving guest lectures, eager to interview potential students during our selection days, looking to share news updates or do you see other possibilities to collaborate? We look forward to hearing from you!
