Hotel Management School Leeuwarden (HMSL) and the Future Ready Hospitality Collective (FRHC) have entered into a strategic partnership focused on the sustainable development of the Dutch hospitality industry. Through this collaboration, both parties strengthen their shared ambition to make the sector future-proof through knowledge sharing, innovation, and talent development.
The partnership officially launched this week and will take concrete form during the Future Ready Hospitality Conference, the leading sustainability event for Dutch hospitality, taking place on 20 March 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Central Station.
As part of the Future Ready Hospitality Collective, Hotel Management School Leeuwarden joins as a founding partner, taking an active and visible role within both the platform and the conference. The collaboration aligns closely with HMSL’s ambition to actively involve students in current and societal issues within the hospitality sector.

A key part of the partnership is a content-based collaboration with the Sustainability in Hospitality and Tourism research group. In addition, HMSL students support the Future Ready Hospitality Conference and actively participate in the programme.
