Our talented HOTS team, consisting of students Sophie, Zuzana, Pavel and Noah, showcased their strategic brilliance and determination at the prestigious HOTS Business Game competition, hosted by the Institute of Hospitality in London.
The team faced a tough challenge, competing against seven leading universities from across the UK. Despite the fierce competition, they successfully executed the strategy they had developed in the weeks leading up to the event. Their teamwork, discipline, and relentless effort paid off, as they secured an impressive victory after three consecutive years of finishing in second place.
The HOTS Business Game is a dynamic competition where university teams are tasked with running a simulated hospitality business. They must make key decisions across various departments such as marketing, finance, and operations, while adapting to market trends and unexpected challenges. The game tests their ability to think critically, manage resources, and work together to drive business success.
