Research. Collaboration. Impact.
About
ETFI
ETFI is the research institute of NHL Stenden, bringing together expertise in hospitality, tourism and leisure. We connect researchers, students, industry partners and public organisations to explore today’s questions and prepare for tomorrow’s opportunities.
Together, we create knowledge that supports innovation, education and professional practice.
What brings us together
Our strength lies in collaboration. The challenges facing hospitality, tourism and leisure are becoming increasingly interconnected. That’s why ETFI brings together diverse expertise, combining research, education and industry perspectives to create knowledge with real-world impact.
Our work is built around three pillars:
Research
Developing new knowledge through applied and academic research.
Collaboration
Working together with organisations, governments, researchers and communities.
Impact
Turning research into solutions that support organisations, education and society.
