The book 2075 – The Future(s) of Food Tourism, edited by Dr Ian Yeoman (Hotel Management School Leeuwarden), Professor Una McMahon-Beattie, Dr Eerang Park and Dr Sangkyun Kim, was published in 2025 by Channel View Publications. The book has been awarded a Special Award of the Jury at the Gourmand Awards and was also named “Best in the World.”

The award was announced at the Saudi Feast Food Festival in Riyadh by Edouard Cointreau, founder of the Gourmand Awards. Founded in 1995, the Gourmand Awards are the only international competition dedicated to food and drink publications, with participation from over 200 countries and numerous international organisations.

The book explores the future(s) of food tourism in 2075 and beyond, using scenario planning and multiple futures thinking to analyse possible pathways and key themes shaping the future of food tourism.
