Exactly in the anniversary year of 750 years of Amsterdam, we, as Hotel Management School Leeuwarden, come to the capital with our Work & Study programme. A year of celebration!
But it’s not a celebration for everyone in Amsterdam. Of all cities in the Netherlands, Amsterdam has the highest rate of poverty. Something we must not ignore alongside all the beautiful hospitality venues the city is known for. Fortunately, there are also many wonderful initiatives in the city, created for and by ‘Amsterdammers’, who provide hospitality in its purest form—often selflessly and with limited resources. These initiatives are deeply rooted in the city, and we want to support them. We do this through the beautiful campaign: ‘75 Companies, 0 Poverty.’
For every intern from our programme working in Amsterdam, we will donate 10 euros.
