At the end of the year, networking platform AF&BM traditionally searches for the F&B Professional of the Year. Despite the extraordinary circumstances and bizarrely fast-changing world around us the search continued. Chairman Aukje van Dongen: ‘We are looking for the F&B professional who has shown to be energetic, creative, motivated, ambitious and agile under this year’s very challenging circumstances.’

Among the nominees there are three alumni and a student of Hotel Management School NHL Stenden: Roos Stevens (Sofitel the Grand & Restaurant Bridges), Yvonne Willems (HUP Hotel Mierlo), Daniel Huiskes (Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky) and Milan Visser (Restaurant 212 & De Juwelier).

Voting is open from 18 November to 9 December and the winner will be announced at the AF&BM’s annual gala on 07 January 2023.
